The Barons von Stepski-Doliwa have always promoted art and culture, hosting courses and masterclasses in chamber music and classical music at the estate during the spring and summer, and organising live concerts there for many years.

During spring and summer, we offer the opportunity to organise courses, workshops and music masterclasses led by internationally renowned teachers, open to amateurs, students and professionals. Piano and chamber music lessons take place in the evocative spaces of the historic villa and cellar, offering a unique setting in the province of Treviso. Each participant has the opportunity to perfect their talent through an intensive and personalised programme. Chamber music ensembles are generally welcomed and supervised by Prof. Arens, ensuring a high artistic and educational standard. The programme culminates in final concerts open to the public, providing a valuable opportunity to perform in a prestigious setting.
Education and talent
The musical gatherings take place at the Piavon headquarters, about 50 kilometres from Venice, easily accessible even for those who wish to combine study and tourism.
Amateurs and students of all ages are welcome, supervised by teachers of international standard. Individual lessons alternate with ensemble music sessions, promoting technical growth and artistic exchange.
The 17th-century villa and cellar spaces offer acoustics and an atmosphere of rare charm. Each day is marked by study, rehearsals and moments of sharing. The final concerts are held in Villa Rechsteiner, highlighting the connection with the local area. A formative experience that combines discipline, passion and beauty.

The Masterclasses also offer the perfect opportunity to enjoy a musical holiday in Italy, immersed in the tranquillity of the Veneto countryside. Guests stay in a high-end farmhouse with full board, savouring the estate’s excellent cuisine and wines. After hours of study, you can relax in the villa’s centuries-old park or explore the vineyards surrounding the property by bicycle.
Excursions to Venice or the famous Palladian villas complete a stay rich in cultural stimuli. Partners and friends who are not musicians are welcome and can share in the unique atmosphere of the estate. The experience combines artistic training, hospitality and discovery of the local area. Music intertwines with the landscape, creating a balance between concentration and well-being.
