Grape: Glera and Pinot Nero
Denomination: Prosecco DOC Treviso
Production area: Veneto, Italia
Harvest time: Pinot Noir in late August and Glera in mid-September
WINEMAKER NOTES:
The soft pressing of whole grapes is followed by fermentation with yeasts at a constant temperature of 15-16 °C; second fermentation takes place according to the Charmat method, with re-fermentation for 60 days in autoclaves.
TASTING NOTES:
Colour: pale cherry red
Nose: elegant nose with hints of apple, pear as well as ripe red fruits
Taste: crisp and fresh palate, well balanced acidity, persistent bubble
SOMMELIER NOTES:
Food pairing: excellent aperitif, Prosecco Rosé pairs very well with shellfish and sushi
Serving temperature: 6-8°C
