Pinot Noir is the forefather grape of noble Pinot family and its discovery dates back to almost 2000 years ago. Its presence in Bourgogne is already mentioned in the 4th century AD (it was called Morillon Noir). Extremely versatile vine, it took part in giving life to great Champagne, fruity rosés and red elegantly refined blends. Grown on our soil, after aging for 12 months in oak barrels, it expresses itself with intense notes of cherry and a slightly tannic harmonic palate.

Grape: Pinot Nero
Denomination: Venezia DOC
Production area: Veneto, Italia
Harvest time: beginning of September

WINEMAKER NOTES:
Maceration for about 15 days. Malolactic fermentation in steel tank
Aging: 12 months in oak barrel

TASTING NOTES:
Colour: ruby red
Nose: hints of cherry and raspberry
Taste: smooth red wine, elegant and well balanced long finish

SOMMELIER NOTES:
Food pairing: perfect with lamb, red and white meats, roasts and aged cheeses,  and goods evoking that evoke woodland scents such truffles  and mushrooms
Serving temperature: 16-18°C

NOTE: This wine contains sulfites
