There is a wine that knows how to tell the story of the strength of our land and the patience of time: Dominicale Rosso – Malanotte del Piave DOCG.
In November, when autumn paints the vineyards and the rhythm of the days slows down, this wine becomes the ideal companion for rediscovering the pleasure of togetherness.

Considered by many the Sunday wine or the patron’s wine, Dominicale Rosso represents the highest oenological expression of Raboso Piave, the native grape variety par excellence of our area.

A wine born from tradition and time

Raboso Piave is a grape with a bold character—its name comes from “rabbioso,” meaning angry or fierce—but in Malanotte del Piave DOCG its strength is tamed and transformed into elegance thanks to a unique winemaking process.
The grapes, harvested last from our vineyards in Busco di Ponte di Piave and Piavon di Oderzo (TV), are partly dried for about 11 weeks, concentrating aromas and structure.

This is followed by a long maceration on the skins and malolactic fermentation in oak barrels, where the wine rests for 36 months before its final refinement in the bottle.
A work of patience and skill that delivers a red of great depth and complexity.

Tasting: a wine that speaks of its land

👀 Color: deep ruby red with violet reflections.
👃 Aroma: an elegant and rich bouquet with notes of black cherry, wild berries, and violet, enriched by spicy hints of licorice and cocoa.
👄 Taste: austere, savory, with firm yet harmonious tannins and a long, persistent finish.

Dominicale Rosso is a wine that invites reflection and slowness, perfect for pairing with game, braised meats, and aged cheeses—but also wonderful enjoyed on its own, in front of a crackling fireplace.
