The Rechsteiner Park

The Villa Rechsteiner Park was created, in its current form, in the mid-19th century following the principles of the English romantic garden. Now one of the largest private gardens in the Veneto region, covering an area of approximately four hectares, the Park features a combination of natural elements (trees, bushes and a small lake) and architectural features (a small temple and Ice-house), creating a natural disorder and a picturesque landscape with winding paths lined with Convallaria Japonica.

The tall trees are particularly noteworthy, including specimens of considerable historical and botanical value, such as the wild Lime Tree, the Oriental Plane Tree, the Swamp Cypress, the Common Yew and the Ginkgo Biloba. The Magnolia Grandiflora located in front of Villa is particularly striking, distinguished by its grandeur and beauty.

The Park is one of the most fascinating elements of Villa Veneta civilisation: it expresses a vision of the world in which nature, art and architecture blend harmoniously, leading visitors to its main attractions such as the water Lily Pond, surrounded by greenery, the charming Tea Temple and the ancient Ice-house, a testament to the conservation practices of the past.
