The Tea Temple, the water lily pond and the Monet style bridge

Facing south facade of Villa, the garden opens up into a romantic setting, where nature and memory intertwine in a whisper of timeless tranquillity.

Here you will find two emblematic elements of the nineteenth-century landscape: the water lily pond and the Tea Temple ruins.

It was in this secluded corner that Baroness Ella, daughter of Friedrich Rechsteiner, loved to welcome her guests, enjoying a cup of tea surrounded by the lush flora of the Park. All that remains of the temple today are the base and plinths that once supported the elegant columns and copper roof, delicate traces of a bygone era.

The arched bridge, evoking the impressionist influences of Monet’s famous paintings, adds charm to this place: a gentle passage over the water, an invitation to dream.

On the edge of the pond, a Malus Profusion tree bends gracefully, allowing its branches to reflect on the water as if in a painting, multiplying its beauty in a play of light and poetry.
