The Venetian Villa Orchard

Overlooking the Park and enclosed between the 17th-century Cellar and the Barchessa, our vegetable Garden is a small treasure trove of living soil with both productive and ornamental functions. Known as “Brolo della Villa Veneta” (this name comes from the Latin “Broilum”, meaning “enclosed field”), it highlighted the fusion between nature and architecture, between leisure and business.

Today, fruit and vegetables are grown in the Brolo for the Rechsteiner Agriturismo guests. Cultivated using traditional and environmentally friendly methods, the vegetable Garden has become a garden of knowledge and, in addition to its nutritional function, also a ‘gym’ for educational and social activities.

The Brolo is divided into three sections, each with a different character:

• the Orchard, which is covered in flowers in spring and bears ripe fruit in summer;
• the vegetable Garden, where hands get dirty with soil and the senses are filled with intense aromas;
• the medicinal herb Garden, guardian of ancient aromas and knowledge, which perfume the air and soothe the spirit.

A simple and precious place, where nature communicates with man and every seed becomes a promise.
